For those that are interested, this is a continuation of a story from Stan Lee's newspaper strips. Check out the tags for the preceding parts.
This is the big conclusion to the tragic romance of Aunt May and the Mole Man. Stan's still writing an epilogue (it takes him longer to finish stories than Bendis) which I will hopefully post in a week or so but this is the big finish.
So when we last left off, Spidey was trying to stall his aunt from marrying the Mole Man by pointing out he didn't have a minister. But it turns out Moley had that covered.

More appropriate than ever.

Are these strips available as a collection anywhere?

(Also, if I ever find myself the owner of a large and clumsy pet of some sort, I am totally going to call it 'Gorgongantua'. Is there a better name for such a creature?)

Date: 2011-02-06 11:17 am (UTC)The weekly meetings would not begin with a quiet "now let us pray"
It would begin with a Acolyte leaping on the Stan's Soapbox and shouting, "Greetings True Believers!"
Reponse: "EXCELSIOR!"
Then everyone would ponder the mysteries of The Lee, The Kirby and The Ditko. Then they would compare pull-lists and then the trivia contest to see who gets that week's Holy No-Prize.
