What is it leading to.....

Since I posted Bean's great moments in the Treasure Team Tango arc, I think it maybe interesting to post this of the upcoming Sonic the hedgehog issues. Eggman has gone underground, having his Dark Legion keeping the Freedom Fighters busy, and the return of Ixis Nagus via the betrayal from Geoffery St. John, both of whom are starting a shift of trust of New New Mobotropolis... somehow those events  areleading to a story arc that promotes what Eggman said in issue 211, 'Sonic Won't Know What Hit Him" from within the comics... and it appears that it is leading up to this...






and the variant cover with this... someone who most likely has died.





And the follow issue cover




Ian Flynn says Genesis will rock Sonic's world. And Eggman saying something about factoring in Sonic's "chaos factor" in their fight. But what does this mean? Time-Traveling? Or does Robotnik have a extreme Mcguffin device to alter the planet?

Will it make the series comprehensible to people who haven't been following it since ever?

Well, the series have little books to mix things around, and with all the fansites and comic-videos on YouTube, all you need a little abit of research and you'll get it...

And they usually do bring up events in previous issues to remind the readers what has been set up...

It's probably more comprehensible than Sega's ever-more horrible decisions regarding their premier series, frankly.

My god, that Genesis issue cover is FANTASTIC.

Makes me tingle with happiness. =D

You know, I think I now actually admire what Archie has managed to do with Sonic. A consistent ongoing series right from the Genesis days of the series to now is impressive, and they seem to have more of an idea of where they're going than Sega do, to be honest. I was never keen on the characters that got added, like Sally, but they're probably better than some of the characters that've been added since Sonic Adventure in the games.


But those covers are pretty darn nice, especially the Genesis one. I wonder who's dying, though?

But don't forget, it a comic death...and we know how well those are...

I assume it's Sally again. But what if it's Tails?

Tails wears gloves, remember? Judging the shatter background, I going for a stretch and say that it maybe Nicole with the city being decomposing... in the future timeline when Nicole was made, she was gone...
