I wonder how long she'll last once Tony Daniel is off the book. I haven't seen any other Batbook even mention Kitrina's existence even though Selina has apparently taken her in and the return of the Falcones to Gotham has been mentioned.
She calls herself Riddler's Daughter (and Riddler calls her 'my daughter' in the last issue), but there's no indication she actually is, rather than simply being inspired by him. (Much like Joker's Daughter, before the reveal of her origin.)
It's one of the biggest problems with the Riddler that he IS very Jokerish, both tend to use an elaborate, childish theme for their crimes, gimmicking toys and puzzles.
They lampshaded it in BTAS (Mad Love), when the Joker is trying to work out which deathtrap to inflict on Batman, and mutters to himself as he pores over his plans; "Boring... lame... not funny... been done... too Riddler"
Not that I'm disagreeing with you of course, I loved E Nigma PI!
Well, this is disappointing. Riddler, PI may have been kind of weak, but the concept was actually really interesting. It took a character who was (and now again IS) rather one-note and made him something more interesting.
Now he's back to just being one of twenty bat-villains with a shtick. The PI angle made him interesting, even if he was represented as being less competent as a hero than a villain. Better writing could fix that. This 'joker-lite' version of the Riddler? Meh.
