Awesome the preview, and I just love how Volstagg gets to torture Loki in a way that's really hilarious and that wouldn't be opposing the oath that he made to Thor (heck I think Thor would probably silently snicker at this whole thing). Also Loki worrying and wanting to help his big bro. never stops being cute.
The great part is Loki doesn't really mind either; he's taking it all in stride. And his innocent sincerity is just so freaking cute, he's going to grow on everyone who's around him.
They're kind of eternal, aren't they? You can kill them and eat them and by tomorrow morning they're waiting in front of the sky chariot again. So a better question would be how he lost them in the first place.
Good grief, this is tooth-rottingly adorable! Little Loki is just getting cuter and cuter, and I think he may end up growing on Volstagg in spite of his attempts at resisting it. These two are so unbelievably cute together.. I do hope we get more of them.
I really am loving everything about this series. Question, though: how much of his old life does kid!Loki remember? I'm a bit sketchy on the exact details of his rebirth.
I loved it in the previous issue where the Warriors Three were discussing how they didn't really want to look after Loki but they promised Thor they would protect him and Volstagg was joking around about how he could get rid of Loki by eating him because then there wouldn't be any evidence of what had happened to him.
This is truly great. I know in comics Status Quo Is God, but I wish this could last forever.
Though, we have seen kid!Loki interact with Thor and the Warrior Three. Has he interacted with Balder yet?
I was wondering... If Thor and Balder are half-brothers (both sons of Odin, but with different mothers), and Loki is Thor's adoptive brother, does that make Loki Balder's brother too?
The obvious answer seems "of course". But since Balder only recently found out that he is Odin's son, and for all of his life he never suspected of being Thor's brother and was never raised as such, then the situation is much more complicated.
Honestly, I think it will last forever. Not with Loki as a kid, but certainly with Neutral rather than Evil Loki. God of evil Loki was a problem for the believability of the comic. After all, why accept him in Asgard if he's evil? It made the Asgardians look like suckers, and fans complained a lot about that. I think this recon is to fix that. As long as Loki is balanced, it doesn't make the Asgardians look like suckers to not kill him on site.
I to really want to see Balder interact with kid Loki. And for that matter, with his evil self who is seeing all this treatment through adult eyes. It's bound to be good stuff.
Balder...won't really be able to interact with anyone other then Tyr awhile. And I believe Loki played up on the fact that they were brothers, before Siege, to try and get his trust.
But ah, when did kid-Loki get introduced? I'm now too interested in the plotline, so I'm going to check out how far back I have to go to catch up on this particular storyline.

And technically, they're not rams :) They're goats.
