Funnily enough, last issue sparked up a huge conversation on another message board I go to about whether Gail's talk about a "big development" for Huntress might be that she'll hook up with Renee. I don't know how likely it is--I'd like to see that happen, but either way I like that they're at least commenting/poking fun at it, and in the most absolutely cutest way possible.

Yeah--the first arc wasn't too bad, but Death of Oracle was pretty sucky. So far the last issue, the Huntress/Catman issue, and the two-parter where Huntress took out Shiva were the only solid issues, IMO.

I don't entirely agree with the Huntress/Shiva issue, but that's just me. But the ratio of hits to misses has already show this to be poorer than her original run, definitely. Death of Oracle in particular feels like a complete waste given we know she's going back to being Batgirl, now.

But it's more the art I've hated this time around. I liked Benes original style, when it looked a little looser and more animated and lively, but the art, from Benes onward, has been a complete fuck up on DC's behalf.
