Still keeping the symbol, lost the Red undies, also armorarmorarmor boots. And that Daily Planet globe always gets destroyed.

Oh my God! Kon what did they do to you? (Also different design from DCNu's Teen Titans Superboy)

I am so in love with that top and the way the cape goes around her neck. Not too crazy on the bottom part and the weird boots. Also it seems Kara escaped the pants for all women policy.

Are you kidding? This is TOTALLY Zero Hour 2.0. Look at the premise of FLASHPOINT.

Also, I think somehow they've forgotten about this little thing called the internet that wasn't around in 1985. Which, you know, is full of shitloads of information people have casually posted about the DC universe. It'll be the most horrifying, headache-inducing motherfucker ever to try to make new readers understand that a lot of that stuff isn't canon.

And on changing his costume:

Yeah, the Supermullet and the Electric Boogaloo costumes don't look totally stupid now at all. I mean, you read Morrison's JLA, naw, not at ALL does the presence of that stupid electric costume stick out like a sore cock. Not at all.

That's rather unlikely. Do you think there were a horde of people confused over the Transformers movies because they didn't line up with whatever the most recent Transformer cartoon was? Or that folks watching Smallville were perplexed that it didn't line up with SUPERMAN RETURNS?

If there's one good thing about the new costumes, it's that their presence, on top of the new #1s and whatever else DC's planning, will clearly mark that these are new, different versions of the characters.

I've always loved DC's willingness to take a sometimes-confusing continuity that can be difficult to understand without someone to guide you through it... with an even more confusing continuity that is impossible for anyone to understand because nobody, even the writers, knows what the actual fuck it is.

Oh god, I just got the most wonderful thrill remembering those halcyon days of 2004 and 2005 watching people pop up on message boards going "so uh I decided to give these One Year Later comics a shot but I read ____________ and could someone explain ____________ and how they became _____________ and where __________ is?" and getting to go "nope, cause nobody fucking knows!"
