Greetings True Believers!

Here are some pages and panels from X-Men: Schism #2 that I enjoyed.

I consider this mini-event to be fair so far.

Enjoy!

The X-Men are dealing with the world-wide activiation of Sentinels.

I like this page because it makes sense for the X-Men to work this way and the part about Fantomex made me laugh.

It turns out that 75% of the sentinels are defective or malfunctioning. The new Hellfire Club saw to that.

Kitty and Rogue are in Iran to deal with a rampaging Sentinel.

Ha. You tell'em Kitty.

And Scott's ongoing bro-fist with Logan continues when Quentin Quire surrenders to the X-Men. Scott lies to Steve Rogers about having him. Insisting that Quire must be tried by a jury of his peers. Logan disagrees with the decision.

Emma slaps Quire's wrist, so to speak.

There is a Museum of Mutant History is opening in SF and Scott sends a delegation. Scott calls it a peace delegation, Logan, watching from a bar calls it something different.

Look at Emma's costume from the second to last panel and this one. Looks like Emma decided to have a "show of force" of her own. :D

Next Kitty should phase her hands through his body so he'll feel all dirty inside.

Also, I'm not sure it's the best writing to have Scott and Logan suddenly all super chummy right before they break up. Makes it less believable, given their history.

Considering their long history of enmity, I'd agree, but I think it's too much fun to see them actually existing in a mutually cooperative friendship of sorts. Cyclops has Logan's respect despite being a gruff codger and Scott appreciates Logan despite being a bit of a straight edge stick-in-the-mud. It's nice to see heroes just... acknowledging each other's strengths, if only for a little while before a bad writer comes along.

Well, it's not like they've been at their throats in a while. A few tiffs aside, they've been pretty solid bros since at least New X-Men.

To make a cross-comics company example, it's sort of like Bruce Wayne giving due respect to members of his Batclan without making a gigantic deal out of it. A well-written Batman accepts and appreciates his team of prodigies IMO.

I was thinking it was more because of Wolverine trying to be more of a team player with the loss of Nightcrawler.
