A bit of early Jubilee, by request

For protogarrett who requested some old-school Jubilee.

One full page from "Uncanny X-Men #244, four scans from "X-Men" v.1 #4, #7 and #9 (about half a page from each), and two full pages from "Uncanny X-Men" #297. All are 22-page comics.



Jubilee's first appearance, living at a mall in California. How she knows what her "pafs" are, Claremont only knows!



Omega Red and other are trying to capture Wolverine, who happened to be riding in a jeep with Beast and Jubilee.



Jubilee, Beast and Cyclops have been held prisoner by a motley crew including Fenris and Omega Red, but now they're free...and in a team-up with Sabretooth.



Teaming up with Ghost Rider and Gambit's wife Belladonna to fight the Brood in New Orleans...but maybe Jubilee wants to join a different team!



Professor Xavier can temporarily walk due to techno-organic virus leftovers, after recovering from Stryfe's assassination attempt. He talks about enjoying the grass under his feet and just walking around, and Jubilee thinks he can have more fun than just that...by rollerblading!



She betrays him horribly by skating them into the lake, but he forgives her and they have a nice chat.

And my only comment is: She's a teenaged superhuman girl made by Claremont...and its taken THIS LONG to make her a vampire? Oh for shame Chris, I expect more of you!

Funny enough, one of my favorite Jubilee moments was when she was de powered by bastion, fought him, beat him good amd then saw through his tricks. Damn I forgot how much I loved jubilee... She and jean were my favorite pats of the 90s x men cartoon

You know, I think I figured it out. Jubilee wasn't introduced because she had an awesome power set (distraction and blinding) but rather, because the team needed someone younger to give them a fresh outlook and make things interesting.
