Black-ish' night story from Batman Beyond..

At the last NYCC I found a .50 cent box with almost the whole run of Batman Beyond, I finally got around to reading it. I think its one of the better cartoon adaptations .



















Many felt this show/story had nowhere to go after "Return of the Joker", but I disagree. I think there was much more to say about Terry and Bruce.

This is the first time I've seen Barda with a Mother Box and a Mega-Rod. Generally, she just has one or the other.

And to think that Boxes and Rods naturally belong together!

I just realised... it's usually Scott with the Mother Box, and Barda with her Mighty Mega Rod... did Kirby intend this as a reflection of how traditional male and female roles are turned on their head with Mr. and Mrs. Free?
