Mega Man #3 - Fireman and...Firewoman?

scans_dailyAs many may know Megaman has a comic of his own over at Archie Comics right now that seems to be selling like hot cakes at least thus far.
Issue 5 is soon to arrive but here's a fun two page bit from issue 3 ,bringing the page count to 6 here, from the issue which is a usual 22 page story. Plus a fun little out of story bonus page (each issue has one so far) from the end of the issue. Plus the villains variant cover featuring Fireman.
Now watch as Megaman battles the unstoppable Fireman!

Thus far Megaman has defeated all but one of the Robot Masters. Fireman.
Following story logic Fireman has to be pretty god tier, right?
Ice, my ONLY WEAKNESS. It's kinda sad how quickly Fireman got taken out but given the events of issue 4 I'm at least happy that it's safe to say Fireman will still be around. (I'll post some of that soon) Also I really have to praise the creative team. The art and writing do a good job of making you the reader feel that something's off with Mega Man as the robot masters battles progressed and that last panel there with the manic look in his eyes is just great.
Plus I'll be honest, I didn't have huge hopes with the comic since I felt the team might butcher it somehow but it's been amazingly solid and fun.
Plus another Fireman related bit from this issue from the bonus page at the end after the story.
Ahaha. Roll using the powers her brother gets has been a fun bit of fanon I'll admit, and red is her color...
And finally less of a story related thing but I'm happy to announce I own a piece of art from the series.
I was a Megaman fanatic as a young one getting introduced to the Megaman game line first through Megaman X. I quickly took a liking to Fire based characters and then quickly became attached to Fireman who just seemed so awesome visually.
Each comic thus far has had a regular cover and variant (in a 50 to 50 ratio I believe). Issue 3's variant featured Fireman.
With the cover being drawn by Ben Bates.
Wanting a piece of art featuring Fireman, once I saw the cover I knew I must own it and so I did.
So hope everyone liked it. Had to post some Fireman. Just received my copy of issue 3 yesterday alas Archie did not send me the variant D:
Which still feels funny, getting a piece of art before I got the issue (since issue 3 like the earlier issues sell out almost immediately everywhere I know of, ended up ordering it off the Archie site).
