Probably, though there are also a couple of other references in there too. Including some people I'm a massive fan of.

Oh, wait, nevermind, just googled it. I thought it was a reference to the Champions rpg.

I believe that Archimago was a minor character from the From Thief to King trilogy by Michael Williams, and that he was the teacher of both Terence and Ravenna. (Done without Google.)
