It's spreading like Texas wildfire (sorry, Texans) but as of an hour ago (Pacific Time) viable rumors sprung up that Locke and Key may yet live.

MTV did also give us Dead at 21, back in the nineties, so it wouldn't be the first good thriller from them. Different genre, scifi instead of supernatural, but still.

As someone who remembers when MTV played nothing but music videos, I see this as a step up.

I feel like I'm coming out of some kind of closet admitting this but the new Teen Wolf on MTV this year was surprisingly good. It was very, very Buffy right from the start but as someone who misses that vibe I kind of loved it. I could totally see something like Locke and Key on MTV now.

Oh. And the mentor wolf on the TW? Just ridiculously hot and shirtless. A lot. :-)

Ahh glad I'm not the only one who liked Teen Wolf. I had an issue with how much he pined over the love interested initially. Got too much like Twilight for me but once that was over and they focused more on the main plot, it was awesome. I like Death Valley too. So if MTV is the only way I can see Locke and Key, well go for it I say. Other networks' loss.
