The fact he had to stand outside drinking booze BEFORE he asks Bobby does not say much for Logan's assessment of him.

I'm not sure I follow your train of thought. It's Logan. Drinking beer is his zen; this is the equivalent of anyone else sitting on a park bench watching leaves fall while they figure out Step Two. I'm not sure I see how that's any reflection on Bobby.

Yeah, I see it more as Logan is about to go ask someone he arguably doesn't know THAT well to abandon someone he grew into a man with, and he knows there's a good chance it's not going to end well.

Good assessment. Bobby and Logan have never really bonded, but Scott is like Bobby's condescending, annoying, awful, but still loved older brother.

That was purely so he could use the "two beers here and one is yours" line. Couldn't have said that with the other four beers there, now could he?

I like to think that Logan just carries beer around with him at all times. You know, just in case.
