Introducing a webcomic for people who, like myself, enjoy seeing multiple characters of many fandoms living in an apartment together. It's spawned, I believe, two spinoffs.
Kind of like with the manly men comic, but with characters from
Pirates of the Carribean
Les Miserables
The Phantom of the Opera
Lord of the Rings
Good Omens
The Labyrinth
Sweeney Todd
And more recently, but just VERY recently, Doctor Who and House.
And to begin, we open with our four main characters:
James Norrington (PotC)
Javert (Les Mis)
Jareth (Labyrinth)
Erik (The Phantom of the Opera.... no seriously, that's who he is)
The thing about them... yes, if you realized, they are the villains and the failed in their own universes, coddled and well loved in form of a painfully adorable and hilarious webcomic.
There are many things in this webcomic...

Yes.

The French vs. The English

And thoughts on villain redemption.

.... And Phantom trauma?

.... The angel and the sauntered-vaguely downwards demon.

.... And Little People.

Yes, that's Gavroche.
And there are those days having the same actor can cause some confusion.

And some Artful Dodger. Wait...

And Legolas, according to James Norrington's perspective.

And.... um... karaoke night.
It's as bad as you think it is.

And the adventures of children.

Meat pies!

It's all quite silly, but it gets sillier.
And more serious, but also sillier.
Oh, and, uh, there is slash involved later. Not remotely what you're thinking.
WARNING, SLASH:

There'll be a story eventually. I promise.
This is just an opening post. We'll see if people agree to it like I do, IDK. I have a weakness for musicals.
The whole of it, in sequence, can be found here: ASHE-RHYDER'S DEVIANTART GALLERY

Date: 2011-10-09 07:32 pm (UTC)Here's the first page from 'Girls Next Door' - basically the 'What if Christine and Sarah were roommates' side of things. To be honest, I like GND better, but I can't judge it fairly, since I've barely read Roommates. From what I've seen, I think the girl's seem more sensical in GND, and the fanservice is less cloying (again, IMHO). And the aaaart~

Date: 2011-10-09 09:39 pm (UTC)Ammagawd, I love the snow queen Darkness storylines. If there is ONE reason to read this, its for the appearances of the snow queen as Jereth's judgmental and overbearing mother.

Date: 2011-10-09 03:02 pm (UTC)There's actually an arc there where they revert to their original selves, except that James Norrington was still a reasonable person so he helped them snap out of it.
