I have never heard of this book and so can't comment on anything happening, but I just saw the scan of the cover and started channeling Homer Simpson.

Very imaginative monsters and nice art.

Impossible for this to grab me, because it's true that all I ever liked about Elric was the comics that are connected to him(I'm not in fact that keen on Moorcock--he always seems like he'll read better than he actually turns out to, excluding Jerry Cornelius and even then...), but it's also true that's very specifically what P. Craig Russell did with him. (and Michael T. Gilbert)
