Uhhh....I'm fairly certain it's been stated vampires can't have kids. They're not alive. No swimmers, no functional uterus's. Nadda. Conor came about through a mystical asspull. If they did that again, it'd be pretty ridiculous.
It's almost certainly Angel's, as he's the only man she's been shown to have sex with in the comic. When they were all hopped up on god juice and fucking a universe into existence.
At least with Angel, the kid would probably be a result of their recent cosmos creating coitus. Spike is still a normal, albeit ensouled, vampire. For him to be the father would require powers-that-be level intervention, and the last time that happened we got Jamine.
I seem to remember SOMETHING that said the Slayer right before Buffy lived rather long (for a Slayer). I don't remember where I heard that, or if it was just a Fan-Theory or something.
According to the novels, India Cohen was the Slayer right before Buffy. She only lasted about three years, though. And novels are of questionable canon anyway.
I really hope Willow is able to bring Magic back...
I have a feeling this will see the return of the Dark Willow we saw in Fray's future. Or at least that's the impression I got from the last issues of Season 8.
she's not a Girl anymore because she's woman now (she passed childhood) remember, Slayers dont live long, she has lived the longest
You know, I'm honestly not sure what Buffy's status is anymore. She did die *twice* and was brought back *twice.* So technically, she did die like she was supposed to, but she just never stayed dead. I think iirc it was eventually explained that two slayers were never meant to exist, and was even the reason Faith and Buffy could never get along. I also think the rationale of season 8 was that Buffy herself screwed up 'the natural order' of things in more ways than one.
which would suck. I'm hoping Dark Willow's actions will somehow allow them to fix things. Otherwise it'd be like Kate Pryde going back in time in Days of Future Past to just insure that nothing worse than Days of Future Past happened.
I'm pretty sure things won't play out exactly as they did in the future, especially since Buffy *did* see what Willow's future was going to be like. If anything, knowing what's ahead would most certainly motivate her into preventing that from happening.
Still knowing how much magic meant to Willow and what she's willing to go through to get it back, I'm almost willing to bet my money we'll still see the magically weakened version of Dark Willow we saw in the future, but things won't quite play out the same way. On the note of Dark Willow's actions in the season 8 comic, perhaps the point of her having Buffy kill her in the future was to hopefully change *her* relative past.
Possibly. i don't want Fray's future to happen though, that was far to bleak for me... let that be it's own universe...
As far as Willow, i can see her choosing to become "The Balance" becoming the dark force needed to balance out the world (to Buffy's light) in order to bring back magic.
But i am hoping it doesn't go that way. Her getting powers (and empowered) was one of my favorite moments in Buffy. her loosing her powers (along with the other slayers) made me sad... I get it... but it made me very sad.
Faith wasn't Buffy's replacement though, Kendra was (Faith was Kendra's replacement), and she got along with Buffy fine (albeit for a very short period of time).
I think Faith and Buffy didn't get along for completely human reasons, they just plain didn't like each other's view of the world (Buffy saw Faith as being annoyingly suited to the role of Slayer, enjoying it in a way she herself didn't. Whilst Faith had serious (and quite justified) betrayal issues and though Buffy was a bit of a prude)
To me it's always, at least in the comics, looked like a halberd's head. With the handle cut off almost entirely. It just looks like it'd be heck just trying to hold it, much less swing it around, by that stump.
At least I hope Angel's the father. He was adorable when he was the doting father for Connor, before the whole baby-kidnapped-to-hell-and-raised-by-mortal-enemy thing.
So... trope guessing time (though I do enjoy Whedon's direct on things normally, he has a habit of mocking tropes too ergo the whole point of Buffy originally). There's got to be a kidnapping to turn into evil minion attempt... I just got narked at accelerated kid growth.
