Michonne’s Origin Story

Okay, it’s been almost a week since the season finale of Walking Dead and that AWESOME introduction of “The Mysterious Sword wielding stranger who saved Andrea in the Forrest”.

A fan favorite in the comics, Michonne has been a bad-ass since Issue 19, and while there was a few things mentioned about her past before the outbreak, a full origin story hasn’t been revealed…until recently. Taken from the April issue of “Playboy” (of all things…), here’s a 6-page short story revealing how Michonne went from an attorney to zombie slicing warrior.











The Next 2 pages has her Boyfriend help close the door, but not before he gets bit, she wraps the wound and they talk while waiting till night falls when she starts to look to neighboring buildings to find food, medical supplies and weapons, she didn't find any guns, but a neighbor's son had a collections of swords, she sleeps in the house clutching one sword till the next morning, these pages was removed due to posting limits...

By the time she returns, she discovers her boyfriend turned...

Not to mention that I believe I've read somewhere that Playboy has commissioned modern comics artists to do stuff for them. Names like Adam Hughes, Gulliem March, and Jamal Igle.
