Out of interest, why didn't he upload the files on ALL of them? He probably can't play the "Upload to the Bugle servers" card twice as the other four will have safeguards in place by then (AIM's tech division alone would manage that) What does he gain from leveraging the four groups rather than taking them down?

Or they might try to create a cyborg, robot or forcibly evolve one of themselves in order to prevent it. Who then would either destroy them or take them over.

Which, pretty much, is the result of every AIM plan to date.

I think the fallout would be too great. I don't think all the law enforcement in the world could take down all those agencies in a short while, and if the four groups are completely exposed and bound for jail, they'll probably resort to all out war on the world as they would have nothing to lose.

HYDRA and AIM, at least, have already resorted to open war against the world and the US in particular. HYDRA in particular, between all the action in Secret Warriors including terrorist attacks with death tolls in the thousands, their alliance with Osborn including Madame Hydra (aka Viper) siccing HYDRA Hulks on the US military, and all of Queen Hydra's shenanigans over in Captain America. I have to agree, there's no percentage in not just releasing all the information on all five groups to the media, the government and law enforcement on all levels, and for anybody who wants to to download for themselves. Let all five of these guys have cops waiting for them outside the building. There's also the point that once the damage is done, the only reason to go after Daredevil is for revenge, since the disc is no longer important once the information on it is disseminated. That might be enough reason, except that a lot of these guys will be busy being on the run, and it's not like Daredevil himself is a witness it makes sense to get rid of, he's just the messenger.

Given the sheer number of people involved, if DD did drop a dime on all of them, he could be assured that dozens of professional terrorists would be after him and his friends looking for revenge. Given how his ID is public, it would threaten everyone he knows.

Hard to blame him for not turning it over, though I dunno why people on DD's side aren't looking for the thing.

Heh, yeah, I read the issue. I'm just wondering if that bit in #10 is Waid directly playing off of it or not.
