Sadly, Catwoman's new partner, Spark, is most definitely a guy, going by his appearance in issue #8 where we see them both emerging from a swimming pool and he's wearing nothing but very skimpy trunks. So as much as I'd love to think of Selina as bisexual, it's not happening here. That solicitation linked above seems to be jumping to conclusions from the cover. Alas. :(

Why would you like to think of Selina as bisexual?
I find It disrispectfull and ofensive specially towards Bisexual people, more so when I think Judd Winnick is one of those "stupid liberals" that right wings use to discredit liberalism.

Worse, is a one night stand, that promise to be more ofensive either as a "mistake" or representing sex alinated from the persons, 0% emotional involvement and objectified bodies with nothing to offer.

If I want a Writer that can write sex then I would go with Christos Gage, and If I wanted a Bi character I would go with Wonder Woman. Winnick writing Catwoman is going to kill me.

Winnick cant make Catwoman Bi, he doesnt has the talent. Not to mention is unecessary and useless. First Winnick would have to develop the character so the Bi thing would be natural, a part of Selina that fits with who she is and who she was.

First you need continuity and then you need talent, this series has nothing of those.

Oh, the art is incredible. A pitty the artist are there to sink in a sea of oblivion, cause that is were all this is going. DESPAIR!

Wonder Girl (or her boyfriend) tying up both Tim AND Kon... that's either greedy, or brilliant!

Looker being a vampire always seemed like a bad idea. Yes we get it, she was a demure, shy wallflower who was transformed into an assertive supermodel type with psionic powers and a powerful ego, and then, irony of ironies, we made her a vampire so she can never see her reflection again. It was sort of a one joke concept that has gone on far too long.

Oh, I don't know. I thought the concept behind original Looker was plenty creepy already, so this just takes it to the next level.

The whole syndrome of un-hotness as a disease of which females must be "cured" if they're to be sympathetic may be "classic" in a sense, though. But maybe not the way the pitch-writers intended.

I like the " artist's signature " tattoo on Catwoman #12's cover; it's got this (possibly unintentional) additional meaning to it.

I also can't help but wonder about PoC.. if black Tybalt, then white Mercutio? Its tumblr doesn't have any indication, and it'd be a nice riff on that movie.

We've met a Wingman wearing that outfit, in Morrison's revived international Club of Heroes, he was the one who betrayed them to the Black Glove and was, apparently killed.

So are these going to be heroes at all,or more akin to Wrath and Scorn? or Red Hood and Scarlet.

I know its par for the course when it comes to Gods, especially the Greek Pantheon. But its still pretty surprising to see a Wonder Woman cover of her kissing her half brother.

Wonder Woman and Apollo have a baby. That baby grows up. Zeus turns into a emu and gets her pregnant. That baby grows up and is turned into a tree by Hera. Apollo gets the tree pregnant. That baby becomes king of Cincinnati. When he dies, he is turned into a constellation. Zeus gets the constellation pregnant. It gives birth to a horse. The horse becomes king of Las Vegas. The end.

I wonder if the new Wingman's secret identity has been changed since the reboot. It seemed that Morrison was setting him up to be someone the reader knew (since he called Bats "Bruce") but with the reboot I would guess Jason Todd or Ted Kord or someone would be out since so many backstories have changed.

Looking at the solicitations I find myself astonished how little interest I have in pretty much any of it (outside of books like Wonder Woman or Batwoman or Aquaman or Animal Man or Snyder's Batman where the characters still "feel" like their pre-reboot versions). I have zero issue in Winick's Catwoman (no surprise to me) OR Gail's Batgirl (which is a huge surprise to me). They have the same name and look (though the Artgerm cover makes me think that could easily be Steph as Batgirl with dye job) but they don't seem like the same characters I knew. It's not just a matter of erasing continuity or de-aging, they did the same with Black Canary in BoP and I think SHE is written well and I can imagine the old Dinah saying/doing some of the same stuff.
