That's an awesome book series. And I just happened to finish the last book right around the time "Legend of Korra" started, so I kept getting bending and furycrafting confused. My brain is weird.

He is. He retired and passed the throne to his daughter at age 84. He's currently 87 and wandering the world as an ambassador for peace. No word on Mai though.

The supplimentary material, there's an interactive map on the American Nick site that has more information about the characters and Republic City itself, and Zuko still being alive was one of the Official things to come out of it.

Superhero Mario Kart should have been superheroes in actual go-karts. Possibly have Superman wiping out Batman's kart with heat vision, while Wonder Woman is swerving around green banana peels dropped by Green Lantern.
