I can think of several Doctor Who and/or Star Trek comic creators who could learn a lot from the above pages about how to a) convey immediately recognizable actor likenesses without making every panel look like it was traced from photo references and b) convey to readers these are the same characters without smothering every line with obscure fanwanky in-jokes and catchphrases. This is how to do it right.
Haha, awesome. I always wished there was more 'lifestyle' consequences of the existence of magic. Buffyverse magicians are always going rampagy or losing their powers and angsting, never using it to heat their tea or stay fit and young, which seems much more likely than a sudden OOC desire for universal domination.
Well in the first season Amy's mom body swapped with her daughter so she could do High School again and reclaim her glory days, and Willow used magic for hacking during that whole "Crack Magic" thing in season... six I think it was. But I think those might fall under the purview of rampagey and angsty.
