You know, this was the sort of quiet moment working characterizations and relationships that make them feel so much more real which I wish we got more often.

Lila, if she's even on Earth at the moment (she tours), has major limits in her abilities. She can ONLY teleport cosmic level distances, and had a limited number of return points on Earth, most of which would be known to the likes of Logan.

I am general for my comic characters being married but that...that was a travesty of a marriage.

"Hey two most high profile black characters. You two are getting married now" wtf?, really marvel?

If this even does nothing other than establish Unit as a team wrecker threat and ends that travesty of a marriage I will consider it a success.

Gateway was last seen wandering round the Australian bush? The Secret Warriors took a while to find him. There's also Eden Fesi, Gateway's apprentice, but I doubt he's very accessible right now. (Also not sure if he can do Moon distances.)

I haven't bought the individual issues, as I was intending to wait for this to be collected, but after seeing the scans here, I must ask about something.

In this massive crossover event, for which one of the purposes was to really feature the X-Men as a major force in the Marvel Universe, have they basically had members of the Avengers win every single one-on-one fight with the X-Men? I actually like the concept of the story, but so far it seems that X-Men are constantly being shown as inferior to the Avengers.

It feels this way, doesn't? The X-Men also have had wins but all of them have felt downplayed compared to the overwhelming victories of Avengers. They are very strangely nerfed - at least some of those have made sense (some X-Men aren't very powerful compared to some Avengers) but some have just been weird.

Can't say I've been digging it.

This is good, but... I thought Nemesis had been erased from existence? Didn't they use time travel to prevent him from being born because he killed the Apocalypse kid?

You appear to be confusing Nemesis with Fantomex. They both wear white and like to hide their mouth under a mask but asides from that they have little in common. Nemesis is a mutant super genius who's been around since WW2 whose demeanour is extremely snarky and SCIENCE! and he likes killing Nazis. Fantomex is a product of the Weapon Plus program with a variety of vaguely defined powers who is probably only a few years old in real world and tends to act as a ninja-thief poseur. Fantomex is the one who killed Kidappocalypse, but he did survive his sentence by time erasure thanks to Psylocke.

I feel sad for Beast being called a traitor. Logan and Quicksilver are impulsive jerks, but at least they could respect Hank's decision.

God I just freaking cannot with his scene. "Thankfully not all mutants are as short-sighted ..." EVERY mutant has been ridiculously short-sighted, except Hank, because EVERYONE has acted like an immature prat during this entire event.

Seeing these three sit there and pat themselves on the back for being so noble for standing with the mutant cause just makes me want to super-sledge them all.

The behavior of most of the X-people except Hank and the kids being held over in Avengers Academy makes me wish Franklin Richards would pop up and say "plenty more mutants, but no more X-Men."
