Really. I feel like Laurie was spotlighted throughout Watchmen, and that there are a great many things we can infer about her by reading through the novel. Conversely, I feel like we really only know surface things about Sally, and I'd like to know more about her. For instance:


******SPOILERS for Before Watchmen: Minutemen******

In Before Watchmen: Minutemen it's inferred that Sally's exploits were complete setups. I want to know much more about that, when it transitioned into her fighting crime for real, her relationships with her husbands and other masked heroes who weren't the Comedian, rather than rehash that Laurie was an unhappy little girl who was pushed into being a superhero by her mother. I just think that's been done before.

I'm not saying Laurie isn't interesting, or that this story wasn't interesting, I just would like to see the focus placed elsewhere.

Well, if these are successful, DC will inevitably make more. So.. Yeah. Hold out and see what happens there, given this first set focuses on the main cast of the second generation of heroes from the original book.
