Mod post: Beyond beyond the big two

Excellent week, chaps.

Beyond the Big Two was a fantastic success in my opinion - how about yours? So MUCH good stuff to read, and most of it new to me. I didn't manage to post the pages from Slaine: The Horned God that I meant to - but I won't let the end of the theme week put me off, and I hope you don't either! Let's keep posting this variety, and work of such quality.

I'm gonna be linking some of the posts from the past week on @scans_daily, so if you missed a day or two just keep an eye on twitter.

But, next things next - are we ready for another theme week already, or do you want a rest?

we could do like two theme weeks in a row and then take a week break or do a marathon of themes... or just do one week on and one week off.

I'm all for seeing more Beyond the Big Two stuff, so I'd happily go another week of it.

But one week on, one week off seems like a good idea IMHO.

i don't think he means another week of Beyond the Big two (though he is encouraging us to continue doing that) he means one week on and one week off of posting another "theme Week"

Indeed, I got that. But it's been an interesting week, so I'd happily see it extended to a theme fortnight.

I think this theme week was great, even though we barely scratched the surface; so many amazing comics still out there :)

Perhaps we could rest for a week, and then we could do another theme week? What would be the theme, by the way?

The most popular theme suggestions are here: http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/3832859.html. We could either go straight into the next-most-popular, or vote again. Or I could just pick one, which would be easier but less democratic.

I vote we go for the next most popular, because then I can fit another Dredd post in. (I figure "America" as a whole can probably go under the Crowning Moment of Awesome banner.)

Also, I'd quite like to see "Beyond the Big Two" become a regular thing, since it's a theme that isn't going to run out of possible content. Maybe we could have a day of the week for it like with Fanart Thursdays? (Variety Fridays?)

How about next most popular? I actually enjoyed the week
