You know, I once had an idea for an adventure in my hero rpg where PB invented a time machine and used it to take her, Finn and Jake back in time to meet my PC's.

When I read the tagline for this post I thought to myself "It would be really cool if PB actually did make a time machine."

AND NOW IT HAS COME TO PASS.

And I'm sure many temporal shenanigans will occur.

The time machine's limitation does at least eliminate any possibility that a temporal paradox could occur that causes the machine itself to not be invented. No going back in time to eliminate Princess Bubblegum's parents or preventing the Great Mushroom War for example.

It's kind of a bizarre time machine in itself, as apparently it replaces both itself and the time travellers in the past with their future selves, with only the environment surrounding it being effected. Peebles basically says, in a dumbed down explanation for Finn, that it's basically a cosmic reset button.

Which means that the story will probably go along the lines of "Something horrible happens, They press the button to go back and try and prevent it, and things inevitably get worse."
