What ever happened to Azrael, anyway? I remember he was a big deal back in the day, having replaced Batman and all, but now? You certainly never see him around any Batfamily or Batman Inc. stuff... at least, that I've seen around here, anyway.

He died at the end of his (100-issue) series. Later was shown as a Black Lantern during Blackest Night.

There was a second Azrael series that I know nothing that ran from 2009-2011, I think. Neither Azrael nor Jean Paul Valley nor the Order of St. Dumas has appeared in the NuDC, to the best of my knowledge.
