You folks should be reading the Comics Curmudgeon. It's a really funny site that makes fun of newspaper comics, particularly soap opera comics. But he's not the first!




This is from DC's 1999 Elseworlds 80-Page Giant, which you should check out of it because it is full of cool stuff like this. (And you can buy it on ComiXology!)


Also, it wouldn't be me if I didn't post some rambling panels in which Doom is awesome and Spider-Man and Wolverine like guys.

Man, I'm gonna miss the Spidey/Luke Cage relationship. That shit was GOLDEN. :D

And yeah, for half a second I wasn't sure if I just completely glossed over that interesting tidbit in the last page.

Because Daredevil is Goddamned awesome, that's how. Because the comics he's writing are fun, which people keep saying is missing from Superhero comics.

And the digital work he did for AvX is supposed to be groundbreaking, though I've yet to actually read it.

Eh...I think that it's VERY overhyped. I dropped it after the cross-over with Avenging Spider-Man and Punisher when it STILL didn't end the stupid molecule disc arc, but even before that I got tired and was really only reading it because people kept saying it was good.

Hey I'm satisfied with the happy ending Bendis gave to the Cages and Squirrel Girl. Nice to see when there's so much dark and grim shit in comics.
