Later, Rick (who has been searching for Carl) decides to head to Negan's place. Negan is already waiting for him.

While Kirkman doesn't shy away from dark subjects and graphic content, I highly doubt he will go that particular route.

Same here. It was a big thing for Kirkman when Carl *almost* got raped way back -- he even wrote in the script before the scene, "Don't worry, nothing happens". So I don't think he'll go that route.

At this point, I doubt that whatever Negan comes up with will surprise me. That guy is a terrible mix of sadistic and imaginative.

Uhhh.... Im gonna go with having to kill a zombie with a butterknife or something. Or maybe hes just fucking with Rick and its gonna turn out hes being super nice to Carl to try and "win him over" to his side. Or maybe hes just trying to turn Carl into even more of a psycho and has made him execute someone...

I dunno though, the emphasis on the word "Done" makes me think its more a singular act, which cant really be anything good

Carl is actually fine. Negan's bluffing so he can bring Rick in alive. Negan's punishment for Carl is actually going to be killing Rick right in front of him, and Carl becomes the new star of the book.
