I'm confused here. Wasn't Damian written as a fan of Shakespeare when he named his dog Titus? After the Shakespeare play and not the actual guy it was based on? Or does this mean that he's selective of the 'classics' he enjoys and found this particular one boring?
I hope it just means he considers particular ones boring. Which would be a good, realistic approach, because lord knows, I love Richard III, but can't stand Romeo and Juliet. So.. Hopefully the latter.
I think it doesn't help, in my case, that whilst I was in High School, we had to read Romeo and Juliet on an almost yearly basis. And, whilst I was there, it was the period when the Baz Luhrman version came out. So I enjoy that film well enough, but it was just, like, a case of severe over-exposure, really. It also doesn't help that I have a major, major attachment to Ian McKellen's take on Richard III.
