Batman's swinging along and sees two gang members about to kill another one for stealing? We all know what he's going to do. The man known currently as Fillmore Press, on the other hand, does things a leetle differently.

Yikes. Of course, this makes a more sense when you realise who exactly he was in a different life. We don't know precisely how his mind was changed, but a series of flashbacks paint a picture that's a wee bit disturbing. And then there's his therapist...

Well, he's an... interesting fellow.

I have to say, I'm really enjoying this so far. It's not a comic for the easily disturbed (there's a sequence in the latest issue that you should probably not read if you're an animal lover), but it's intriguing and weird enough for me to really want to know what's going to happen next.

He's got a bit of "Clockwork Orange" to him, that's for sure.

This is the kind of book that intrigues me to the point that I furtively wish I could portray the main character in a TV adaptation.

Bedlam's an interesting choice for a town name. (But, then, so is Gotham, when you get right down to it.)

Looks pretty interesting...might have to track it down.

Well the original Bedlam was a kind of contraction of the original name of the hospital, Bethlem Royal Hospital, so it's possible that it originally had a similar semi-religious name but evolved over time to be what it is now.

Like the town in Salem's Lot refers to an area of land that a pig called Jerusalem used to live on or something.

Is it just me, or does he seem distinctly MORE unstable now? I mean, aside from the lack of mass murder. Lack of mass murder is good! But he seems less aware and in control of his actions, more likely to act on impulse, those impulses are much weirder and more unpredictable...

Love this series. It's not for the faint of heart and it's definitely a departure from regular cape comics, but it's still great. The art is just stellar and the writing is appropriately weird.
Love it.

I think taking psychiatric advice from Norman Osborn is a bad idea.
