It's not that people don't love him for anything other than his pretty face, it's that people love his character and can't stand to see DC do this to him.

I'm not intending to quit reading either (I was going to until I heard they were changing authors, so now that's happened certainly not giving up now), but I'll be incredibly unhappy about it if this proves to be more than an artistic cover.
