I really hope it's not. He's exactly the kind of character, who can change into likable individual with enough character development and good writing.

I think Damian works best when he's played for laughs. Have you read Superman/Batman 77, or his crossovers with that.. blonde Batgirl... who is she again? He might a psycho, but he can be damn entertaining one.
