I liked his interactions with Steph, and his appearances in Red Robin but post-reboot he's been difficult to deal with. I was really struck by one of the early issues of B&R, when he randomly killed that bat for no goddamn reason. That was a really terrible characterization moment and - maybe because I work in the CJ system and study abnormal and criminal behavior - I think it marked him in a way I just can't shake.
