Hi folks!
Shonen Jump Weekly has added a few new series, including one I quite like, One Punch Man.
Saitama was once an unemployed salaryman who was bored and unhappy with his life. A chance encounter with a monster convinced him to become a superhero, since that sounded way more fun. Problem is that he's too powerful, able to take any opponent out with one punch. So now One Punch Man must search for meaning in a world that holds no true challenge for him.
Or does it?
Saitama is woken from his slumber by his wall being crushed in. The monsters responsible haul him outside.

After a long, hard-fought battle, One Punch Man has defeated the lesser Subterraneans, so it's time for the boss monster to appear.

turn the page...

Yes, it was all a dream...but that's not the actual punchline to the chapter, which I won't spoil.
It's funny, but I don't know how long the premise can sustain itself.

Date: 2013-02-14 04:00 am (UTC)It was based on a webcomic with very crappy art, but was fun enough that a manga publisher basically went, "Here, have one of our greatest artists. Go nuts!"
And as you go further, there's more stuff involving Saitama's sidekick and the hero's organization, that spice things up.
And, seriously, you need to show some One Punching, people may get the wrong idea ^^
