To be fair, I think it's more that people are saying that it's okay for WW to not deal with it at that moment because she has more pressing matters to attend to.

But from a Doylist perspective, yes, you're right. Because it's in there with no consequences because for WW and everyone else and the audience is expected to see it as a "small thing" compared to everything else that's going on. Which is...a pretty common defense for this kind of harassment. Him taking time out of pressing matters to slap her butt is fine. Her (or anyone else) taking time out of pressing matters to seriously object to it would be petty and make her look bad. So sexual harassment: only important when you've got nothing else going on.

And you're arguing that, on the contrary, there is absolutely nothing in the world more important than sexism. They are attempting to save everything and everyone in the entire world, and you're saying that they should forget that and focus on what's really important: keeping Orion from bring sexist.

But this is comics, where the shorthand for "a menace that threatens all of space in time" is "Tuesday afternoon." From the perspective of WW being a feminist icon of many decades, it is a bigger deal.
