I have repeatedly bounced off his writing not due to content, but just the style. I tried three times to start Seventh Son and could not force myself past the first chapter. I also tried to reread Ender once I was an Adult and found it had been visited by the crap fairies (the one who replace your favorite childhood novels and TV show with much crappier ones some night between childhood and adulthood).
All in all I would argue that OSC is a medium talent. Nothing wrong with that, but he is no Michael Chabon or Christopher Priest.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
