This is a huge improvement on the weak-tea reveal of Herc's bisexuality in the 616. It's a damn shame the only reason Pak can do it here is because the book is essentially one big AU.

Right. Though the constant ribbing about Cho being his lover really makes me roll my eyes for the same reasons -- it's all good, so long as it's a joke. I mean, technically, 616!Herc hasn't even been confirmed bi on the page, just had it hinted at and tittered over.

A "reveal" that Hercules is bisexual would be like a reveal that Dionysus liked to drink wine. There was already literature establishing this... several millennia ago. So you'd be a few thousand years behind if you were waiting for that one.

A reveal would be pointless. On the other hand... ALL reveals of a character's sexual orientation are fairly pointless (and these days mostly shallow pandering), so...

I totally love this and hope these characters will live on to appear somewhere again after the title is cancelled (Phil Jimenez tweeted that he'd love to pitch Marvel a one-shot. Not the biggest fan of his art but I'll take it).
