The Walking Dead #117
Dec. 11th, 2013 02:59 pmSo while I won't post the actual scene itself, the following pages take place after an attempted rape. So a trigger warning for rape.
We're in full-out war between Negan and Rick, and Holly is taken captive by Negan after she crashes into his fence to let the zombies take the place.
Later, one of Negan's men tries to rape her but...

Also a little "context is for the weak" Negan goodness from early in the issue:

Date: 2013-12-12 12:52 pm (UTC)Whether or not he actually would have done that to Carl, it's quite possible he doesn't equate rape of a man or boy with rape of a woman. He quite likely holds deeply misogynistic views on the topic that are fairly bursting with hypocrisies. I suspect Kirkman thinks this make Negan a more interesting, nuanced character. I think that it is just a way for Kirkman to have his threat of rape without having to go through with it.
Also: I had to look up what 'run a train' actually meant. I'm rather glad I didn't know what that meant.
