Fanart Thursday - Christmas Eve edition
Dec. 24th, 2013 10:38 amIt's Christmas Eve, and whilst I appreciate many of you don't celebrate Christmas for one reason or another, I hope you'll accept my "Merry Christmas and the compliments of the season to you and your loved ones" in the spirit of the season... well, the GOOD part of the season, the whole "Goowill and fellowship" part rather than the "rampant consumerism" part.
Normally, I have a Christmas card for the comm, but this year I'm afraid I wasn't able to arrange one in time, so I've gone trawling on tumblr and DeviantArt to find a few seasonal images to share.
But what would a Christmas post from me be without an acrobatic Robin?

Ummm, okay, not QUITE what I had in mind perhaps, but close enough!
Thanks to all the in the community for their participation throughout the year, the discussions, the crack, the shared treasures and hidden gems reveales, the alternative points of view shared, and I hope I didn't piss too many of you off too badly.... sorry if I did and I'll try to do better in the year ahead.
And on with the show....
From Bill Walko - An underwater Christmas

Like the nod to "Batman - Brave and the Bold" in having Arthur Jr in the blue and white swirly costume.
And a Harley and Ivy Christmas

By Chris Sims and Dean Trippe for Comics Alliance (Which has an article featuring two HUNDRED Christmas-y themed covers)

Makes sense to me
From potatocat over on tumblr and her Go!Robins

And a few special cases from our old friend, the Black Cat (Sorry, once I start finding her images, I just keep wanting to post more!

Looking at this again, if someone wants to balance this out with more Marvel and other publishers, then please feel free!
