That's right, Spock. For a little bit at least; we're getting a two-parter of what happened during the nine-hour time skip back during the 2099 arc. Kudos to whoever guessed that would lead to something.

I wish Spidey would keep some of his costume upgrades he's gotten over the years. Particularly the Iron Spidey suit. It made sense to keep it. (You know, real world sense.)

Agreed, but I guess they figure any sort of long-term progression that doesn't revert to the status quo ages him too much. =P

Plus he found out during Civil War that Iron Man had bugged the suit, even if it was supposedly to keep track of Spidey's vitals.

A fair point, though that does beg the question of where Peter sees himself compared to Tony on the "who can best who" game here.

If it was about building something that Tony couldn't hack from scratch I think Peter could do it, but Tony built the suit, that mean he knows how it works inside and out. Even assuming he *didn't* program in any secret backdoors (not bet I'd like to make) he'd probably have an advantage just because y'know... He built the thing.

It's an arms race. Peter pulled ahead for the moment, but given time to sit and think, Tony would be able to come up with something else. If it was something Peter hadn't anticipated, Tony would pull ahead until Peter had time to do likewise. Unless Tony's move was "fry Peter's nervous system and turn on a homing beacon, so he wakes up in the Negative Zone prison," in which case, well... the winning move is not to play.

Otto Octavius, inhabiting Peter Parker's brain. That whole "Otto is Spidey" thing that was happening, and just ended? This is going to be a flashback story to a part of that we didn't see before.

They're doing this a bit earlier than I would have expected, you'd think they'd wait a year or something, long enough for people to get a little nostalgic, before doing the Untold Tales thing.

So not looking forward to the Spider-Verse thing mentioned in the interview though, not only does at have Morlun, but I fundamentally disagree with stories that make Spider-Man super duper cosmically important.
