After Sweet jumped from his still moving car onto Travis', he then casually picks the vampire hunter out of his seat and tries to throw him forward under his own flaming car. This causes another flashback to Travis' childhood, to the mental institution he was sent to at the age of four for claiming that his family was killed by vampires.



Travis manages to climb up unto the driver's seat of Skinner's car, and then realises that he can't actually steer the thing. And there's another cliff coming up...

This causes another flashback, this time just to an hour earlier, where Travis had managed to track Skinner down to a house in suburbia using the file he stole from Agent Hobbes. The house is filled with easter eggs of Skinner's earlier stories (there's poster for the film Pearl was in, for example), but he's not there for long as Skinner quickly escape in his car, kicking off the whole car chase in the first place.

We then shown how Travis escaped from the mental hospital at the age of 13, and his first meeting with Agent Hobbes.




Back in the present, their cars fly off the cliff, crashing into one of those drive-in cinemas they had back then. Travis staggers out, the car he was driving totalled, still determined to kill Skinner for what he did...
