The severely battered Travis faces off against Sweet, who stabs him in the shoulder with one of his claws, which gets him slashed across the face with a gold-coated switchblade. Sweet them bites Travis in the neck, which slowly starts to paralyse him...

Sweet smacks Travis aside, knocking the golden knife from his hand, he goes to start mauling him to death if he can't just eat him... only to be called off by Agent Hobbes. Yes, it seems that somehow, Skinner Sweet is working for vampire hunters now. They rush him off to extract the gold form his system before it does more damage, only adding to Travis' confusion to what exactly they did to him to make like this.

Hobbes gives Travis a serum to make the paralysis from Skinner's venom wear off, but while he's distracted Travis and Piper steal one of the VMS' cars and drive back to her old neighbourhood to finish off the remaining vampires from before. But at this point, Travis has become... not entirely sure whether Piper's actually the victim she claims to be...

You know, I thought Kidd was gonna die by the end of this arc. I guess Snyder saw enough potential for him to survive. Good thing.

By the way, Espanolbot, what's your opinion on AmVamp: Second Cycle?

Second to last scan, bottom center: how is a revolver ejecting a cartridge?

You can put a silencer on a revolver, but it involves serious modifications because you need to seal the cylinder when it's up against the barrel. It of course, wouldn't eject the shell. Silencers also aren't perfectly silent, people on the other side of the door would clearly hear a silenced gunshot, but that's an endlessly uphill battle to get people to understand.

The gun does look like a revolver, however. The barrel, the cylinder, the iron sight design are all stereotypical of a revolver's design. To eject a shell, you need some kind of slide or arm mechanism to throw the shell out. This isn't quite as bad as the ever-present "drawing bullets fired from a gun with their shell casings intact", but it's up there.

It isn't a revolver, it's a Comic Book Gun (see also Gun-Fu) which never needs reloading and carries 4000 rounds in an invisible extradimensional clip.

Comic Book Guns are also as silent as they need to be, or create any of a variety of sound effects as desired.

See also Action Movie Gun, which has similar properties regardling reload requirements, and which is, IIRC, lampshaded nicely in "The Last Action Hero"
