Last issue Terry learn that Barbara was once pregnant and Dick use Bruce head as a punching bag.

It was the portrayal of Bruce that ruined BB for me and made me think of it as alternate continuity (even if Timm says different), I just don't see the Bruce of the BTAS or JLU becoming like that. Its as if Timm and Co. thought the 90s/early 200s era Bat-jerk was Bruce's default personality and he was doomed to end up alone and miserable. That's not the Batman I want to read about.

As many have pointed out (within the comics and out of it) for some who is supposed to be so anti-social and a loner, Bruce always surrounds himself with a lot of people (many of whom pretty much worship him).
