Back at the Lobster's headquarters, the two detectives from earlier are marvelling at the set-up the vigilante has in place, in addition to being baffled with what to do with the Black Flame who has... just kind of given up now that Kamala's dead.

Elsewhere, Cindy explains how she was able to escape the hotel before it exploded and eventually hijack Isog's car.

Isog leads them to a remote mansion that he claims to be where the injured Wald is hiding, and the Lobster decides to and investigate the place while Cindy holds the criminal at gun point. Unfortunately, the house is inhabited by a gang of feral cannibals (who were referenced in the first Lobster Johnson story, evidently all old cities with deep underground networks end up with packs of feral cannibals dwelling in the sewers, London and Paris are mentioned as having the same problem) who mob our heroes.

Isog uses the opportunity to escape while Cindy shoots some of the cannibals that try to attack her, as they all regroup after the Lobster and his friends shoot all of the inhabitants.

Later, a wounded Wald awakens to find Isog standing over him. The European gentleman immediately starts spinning what happened to his advantage, such as metaphorically throwing Raimund and Kamala under the bus by claiming that they were planning to overthrow Wald, leading to Isog dispatching them to protect his boss... even though it was heavily implied that Isog, Kamala and Raimund were actually planning to do that together.

The gangster is pleased at this news, just as he is when he hears that he lead the vigilantes to the cannibal house as a trap. He admits that he had other plans for the people had had stashed there, but none were better than using them as a means of making the Lobster and his crew "disappear". We leave the two criminals with the gangster thinking that Isog to be a loyal and quick thinking right-hand man... but for how long, we'll have to see.

Back at the police station, the two detectives are chuffed about their discovery of the Lobster's hideaway, when Cindy rolls in...

The end... But here's an unofficial epilogue, from Sledgehammer 44 (specifically issue one of the Lightning War), the direct sequel to the Lobster Johnson stories (and thus far the only Hellboy-verse stories to actually take place during World War Two).

It begins some time after the events of the Burning Hand in 1933, and Raimund has been extradited back to Germany. But things have changed in his home country while he was away with Kamala, and... certain people believe that they can make good use of the magician...

Ironically, despite the seemingly genuinely high regard that Hitler has for Raimund, I don't think that he would actually care for Kamala that much. What with her being Thai and all... And here's a scary thought. The Nazis let Raimund have free reign for nearly TEN YEARS before he eventually was killed. Imagine what he could have gotten up to in that time...
