On the way to the Village that asked for protection, Han and his Star-Hoppers find the outskirts of the village under attack by High-hounds. (Really big birds with human faces)









The old man tells that there is a mystical solution to the problem and that the outsiders need not get involved. Han dismisses this, of course.




(That's Serji-X Arrogantus, the Arrogant One. Just, btw.)

He threatens to take Merri (the girl Han saved) and the battle begins.




(Poor Effie, we hardly knew ye.)



Don-Wan Kihotay gets shot in the back, seemingly down for good.

However while the battle raged, no one paid attention to the old man...




This issue includes a side-story, where Luke continues looking for a location for the new Rebel base, but Leia loses contact with him and decides to search for him herself. (There's a whole thing about General Dodonna suggesting she stay, though she wanted to go with Luke to begin with.)

You know if he wasn't caught up helping the Rebels, I wonder why Han never got back to paying Jabba... the Rebels did give him a reward, what did he do with it?

Well, if you believe this series, it got stolen by Crimson Jack. (Then he recovered it, but gave it back to the Rebels, then paid Jabba through other means, but Jabba still placed the bounty on his head, then Jabba forgave him for saving him/his accountant, then he put a bounty on his head again because he was funding Crimson Jack and Solo wrecked his ship.)

It's best not to think of it.

I'm sorry, I can't look at that Jaxxon caption on the front cover without thinking of that line. Funny though how in the actual stories Jaxxon isn't anywhere near as annoying as you would think he'd be.
But yeah, these are fun stories all right..
