Hey, atleast porn comics have the cajones to feature fully erect dick front and centre, that's something Avatar consistently chickens out on from what I've seen.

Also somewhat off-topic but since we're talking about Avatar... just compare the New Line horror comics (Freddy, Jason and Leatherface) from Avatar to the ones Wildstorm put out.

Avatar's comics were just goreporn and cheesecake with very little semblance of plot. I-mockery did a good rundown of them: http://www.i-mockery.com/comics/longbox9/.

Wildstorm put out some crap but they also did some really good stories -- the Texas Chainsaw Massacre comics from Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning is better than 90% of the actual films and the two-parter with Jason befriending the kid was also better than what the films have done with the character.

Point is Avatar may put out some above-average stuff but it's silly to suggest that there's much in the way of quality standards.

Scans from an issue of God is Dead where I can't find anything to actually hate. The Wanderer part is good as always, they actually manage to wrap up the 'Endless Death' and 'Children of Thanatos' subplots, and Jesus actually does something that would be completely in-character.

There better have been some horrible shit in the issue that the OP didn't want to scan, because otherwise reality as I know it has collapsed.
