Alright, let’s just put an end to this now. Here’s the last issue of Ultimate Fantastic Four: Salem’s Seven. How does it all come crashing down in the end?



The issue begins with the Salem’s Seven having just kicked the butts of our heroes and now over at the cavern where all of the hydra eggs are in Oregon. Back in New York…







Once the team develops their weapon and after a bit of Namor & The Thing butting heads…





So the heroes and also Namor arrive on the scene and start beating up Salem’s Seven as they start preparing for multiplying. Everyone fights and beats each other up, with Sue rescuing Johnny from exploding and making more baby hydras I suppose. Then during the fight, after which Reed & Sue unleash their Nitrogen Cascade…





So everything goes ka-boom and our comic ends on this final image.



I guess that whole thing with Namor went nowhere. Oh well, let’s just reflect on this lovely image of these two reuniting with a kiss, surrounded by lava and as Sue’s costume gives her a nasty wedgie.



And that’s Salem’s Seven, our last arc of the series before it turns into a tie-in. All that’s left for this current team is Ultimatum and then their official destruction with Ultimate Enemy…

On a positive note, I appreciate Sue getting to step up with the super-science. A lot of the time it reads as "And Sue's a scientist too, but back to the *important* science that Reed is doing."

I maybe missing something but why is Sue showing such affection to Namor, who physically assaulted her while trying Sexually Assault her?
