Holy exposition recap, Batman!





Bombshell is about to kill Mindbender when the Baroness steps in and shoots him from behind. This causes him to revert to insect mode and Mindbender pockets him *This has almost no pay-off so don't worry about it.*

Ratchet arrives at the GI Joe base.





Meanwhile Hawk is lost in thought learning that the Senator he has struck up a relationship with, collaborated with Cobra to make a defective flying Nuclear plant (the worst kind!)





The Joes, Cobras, and Autobots attack the Decepticon base on mass.



Meanwhile Scarlet, Goldbug, and the Baroness manage to make it able for Mindbender to assume control of Alpha, and launch it into space... They also plant explosives on board.



Learning that the mission is successful Serpentor no longer has anything to gain by keeping his forces engaged against the Decepticons.







Sooo... how fridgey was that death? On the one hand it was a natural consequence of her character's actions, so it didn't come out of nowhere.. on the other hand she was only created in this mini to give Hawk something to angst about.

I preferred the Marvel UK birth of Goldbug. Bumblebee was killed by Deaths Head, and his remains found by Wreck-Gar, who rebuilt him as Goldbug. Somehow bigger and more powerful than Bumblebee was.

Then he formed a nice bromance with Blaster, went on the run from Grimlock and joined the Throttlebots.... Whose minds were later transplanted into remote control cars, when their bodies were crushed by RAAT. Man, Transformers was weird sometimes.
