I don't actually know for a fact that this is the world's first choose-your-own-adventure comic, but it's the first one I've ever seen, so it's the first one to me. Anyway, it's by Jason Shiga, the guy behind Fleep, and it's quite interesting. The way it works is somewhat complicated, so I've decided to post the instruction page first:

Now here are two pages from the comic itself. I didn't want to spoil too much, but I think these two usefully illustrate how the comic works:

In case it wasn't clear from the first panel, the story involves time travel. So what you see in the lower panels are events the main character undergoes early in the story. In the panels-within-panels, you see events that happen simultaneously: your older self, having traveled into the past, picks up the physics text in the bathroom while your younger self is given permission from the professor to use the bathroom. I thought this was a great device, and works well with the title.

Here's a page from where you get to confront your younger self. I just posted this one because I thought it was funny that you got to insult yourself.
Anyway, if you are not familiar with the work of Jason Shiga, I highly recommend him, and this is a great comic.
