Oh yes, he *totally* means it literally. This really *isn't* a conversation of which we're only seeing the tail-end. I will be *completely surprised* when it turns out they helped publicly fake Yip's death and put her in witness protection.

I haven't really been keeping up, but is this essentially Gotham Central now? And is it as good as Gotham Central? It looks along the same vein, and, as much as I dislike the Commissioner-Gordon-as-Robo-Batman thing, it adds an extra dimension to this, as they now have a direct line to the new Batman.
